Fabulous Organizing Tips and Thoughts
from GON Readers

Here are a bunch of tips and thoughts from GON Readers to brighten your day...

Now My Countertop is Neat and Clean

The best thing I ever did in my bathroom was take all my makeup, hair products, and nail polish off my countertop and organized these items into a rolling bin with drawers.

Each drawer has a couple of organizing bins where I can separate by type of item. It rolls underneath my countertop and is very accessible.

Now my countertop is neat and clean. All my items are easily accessible and neat. I love it!

I Have My Junk Drawer Organized Quite Nicely
I have my junk drawer organized quiet nicely. When we renovated our kitchen a few years ago, we received an extra silverware organizer.

I keep pens and pencils in one slot, scissors and rulers in another, paperclips and erasers in another, and so on. This system has really worked for our family.

Even the kids know where things are and can find them easily!

Creating Special Cards Without Feeling Rushed
Every three months, I sit down and make a list of all the birthdays, anniversaries and other events that will require greeting cards during that next quarter.

I buy or make and address the cards. I jot the mailing date on the front of the envelope--for example August 11th, always allowing 5 days for the card to get there.

This gives me more time to create a special card without feeling rushed and ensures that the cards are never late.
