Wipe off the bathroom counter.

I often see some little things around the house that need to be done, but maybe they're not urgent, or I don't have the time just then, or (let's face it) sometimes I just don't feel like doing whatever it is in that moment in time.

One day, as I noticed some dust bunnies lurking behind the laundry hamper, I had a eureka moment. My phone is nearly always with me, usually in the back pocket of my jeans. I started a 'bullet list' on my phone for these little tasks...somewhere to quickly note those tiny odds and ends I notice or think about but am not ready to tackle.

Many phone apps for bullet journals, lists, reminders, etc., are available. I created a new list in the list app on my phone called 'Home Bullet List.' This list is limited to those little things that I suddenly notice or think of that need to be done. I also added a 'Home Bullet List' notation on my daily schedule. Every day, when that time rolls around, I choose one item from my Home Bullet List.

It's working because I am getting a lot of little things done. Two days ago, I ordered vitamins we were running low on. Yesterday, I tidied the bathroom drawer where I store my hair ties. And today, I made those dust bunnies that were lurking around the hamper disappear. Consider using a Home Bullet List for yourself. It's a great way to stay on top of those small home tasks that need to be addressed.

By the way, you can certainly do this with paper and pen as well...whatever works best for you!
