For his tools, my husband bought inexpensive magnetic strips that he hung in the garage. Now screwdrivers and other small metal tools are easily seen and accessed. And more importantly, easily returned where they belong.

How a Fishing/Tackle Box Helps Me Keep My Sewing Supplies Organized
My husband came up with using a fishing/tackle box for a sewing kit. It comes with sufficient space for spools of thread, is organized and easy to see on the top, the bottom is great for storing scissors, containers of buttons, pin cushions, and the like, and it has a handy carrying handle for 'tote- ability.'

This Helps Me Get Rid of Clutter
I'm a pack rat. I keep everything thinking someday I might need it. I've discovered, if I go to attempt to clean out a drawer, I hardly ever take anything out to throw away. But if I dump everything out of the drawer and select only what I think is important enough to put back in, I get rid of much more clutter. Perhaps it is seeing that beautiful clean drawer and organizing things as I put them back in? Whatever the reason, this works for me.
