I have about 30 years of slides that take up a lot of room. Do you have any suggestions about how to cut down what I have? Thanks!

Hi Judy,

My first thought is saving yourself a whole lot of time by using a company to digitize those slides for you. I know someone who sent all of her old slides to a company called Legacybox, and they converted them into digital images.

They then transferred them onto my friend's media of choice. The options given to her were a thumb drive, the cloud, or DVD. It was easy and no work required on her part.

If you don't have the budget for this, you can convert your slides one by one using a phone app, such as Slidescan.

Hopefully one of these options will help you get started. At least, if they're digitized, they'll be easier to sort through, you'll be more likely to look through them, and you'll also have the ability to share those memories easily with other family members.
