Dreamers think about all the possibilities in life. Doers make those possibilities a reality.
Are you a Dreamer, a Doer, or a combination of both? Look at your inherent skills.
Dreamers work with their intuition and feelings. Doers work with their minds and methods. Dreamers are more right-brain thinkers and have innate knowledge of color, space, arrangement, etc. Visualization comes more easily to them when it comes to making a lovely environment or experience. Doers are left-brain thinkers with effortless skills in mathematics, time management, and systematic order. They think with a structured plan and ensure tasks get started and completed...on time.
Working with someone who has the other skill set can help you see how it all fits together. Maybe you have ideas and need a sounding board to develop these into fruition. You, as the Dreamer, may need the assistance of your Doer friend, or vice versa. You could collaborate on ideas an make them happen.
Sometimes achieving something requires someone outside your inner circle of friends and family. For instance, if you are more of a Dreamer, you could schedule an appointment with a Travel Agent and take your list of ideas. The agent will help you achieve these within your budget and time available. If you are a Doer, you could visit a Travel Agent with your exact needs and the agent will help you formulate a vision of your dream vacation.
You may already have each of these united within you. Or, if you lean more heavily as either a dreamer or a doer, you may need to team up with someone to more easily and effectively merge the fun possibilities with the practical.
It takes BOTH of these talents to have a vision and to get things done. This is how to make the real magic happen in everything you do in life.
