Make Each Child Their Own Personal Cookbook
I have two teenage kids who love my home-cooked meals. For the last couple of months, I have been making each child their own personal cookbook to take with them when they leave the nest.
The cookbooks contain all of their
quick and easy meal favorites. For each, I use a two-inch binder and protector sheets.
It will be nice to have these ready later when the need arises, and I'm sure they'll appreciate having all of their favorite recipes in one place.

This Makes Laundry Easier...and Helps the Kids Learn Responsibility for Their Own Things
I used to think that laundry was a total monster. However, I came up with a simple solution. I do each child's laundry on an assigned day, AND each child has his or her own color-coded basket.
When one child's clothes are washed, they are then put back into that child's basket. Each child is responsible for putting their own clothes away.
It seems that laundry is so much easier.
It also makes the children learn responsibility for their own things. It is a win-win organizational system.

Turkey Day Tips
I use thermoses for keeping breakfast food items warm until I get to work...oatmeal, scrambled eggs, even waffles!
