This helps us remember the book we read...
Hi Maria,
I love reading books, but due to work commitments, I haven’t always made time to do so. This year, a friend challenged a few of us to read twelve books in twelve months. I’ve been reading at least ten minutes a day since we started.
To keep us accountable, we have started a small notebook and using a page or two, we write the title and key or interesting vocabulary we come across, as well as characters.
This also helps us remember if we’ve read the book or not (I have sometimes starting reading a book again, forgetting I’ve already read it ... whoops!).
Keep up the great work.

When I want a bit of "retail therapy," I can do so inexpensively and help others at the same time
My "retail therapy" is done in my favorite small charity thrift store. I never spend more than $10 and I help out the firefighters burn fund. I have also gotten some amazing pieces of original blown glass there.

Wasting time is a bigger problem for me than wasting money
Rather than setting a budget in dollars, I find I need to set a budget in hours and minutes. Wasting time is a bigger problem for me and many friends than wasting money.

I never waste leftover broth
Maria,
I rarely use a whole container of broth. I put the leftover broth into an ice cube tray and freeze,
then put the frozen cubes in a freezer bag and freeze. I can then drop the frozen cubes in a future
dish.
Keep up the good work!
