This past Christmas, my husband gave me the nicest pajamas I believe I have ever owned. He bought them from PajamaGram and are called "the world's softest pajamas." I have to say, they truly
live up to their claim to fame.
I generally wake up and get dressed for the day. However, I wore them to bed this past Saturday and, since I didn't have to go anywhere, I lingered in them
half of the day on Sunday.
It's nice to own clothing that you feel good wearing... sleepwear, jeans, sweaters, business attire, outerwear, etc.
Clothing that you own AND that you particularly don't like usually hang in the closet or sit in the drawer...taking up unnecessary space and bringing negative emotions.
When you go clothes shopping, be particular about what you buy. Take the time to try it on. Don't buy it if you say to yourself, "Hmmmm...I'm not sure about this." If you buy it online, try it on before removing the tags and return it if you
don't love it. Don't buy something that's on sale, just because it's on sale.
Note that "quality" does not always equate to "expensive." There are many great clothing items out there that
are priced very reasonably. And if there is something I want that's a bit more than I'd usually spend...well I'd much rather save up my money to buy that one thing than to buy, let's say, three "just OK" things.
Maybe you're not wearing a clothing item you own because it's too tight, too short, too long, or you don't like the color or style. Maybe the material is itchy. Maybe you're thinking, "It's not good enough to wear in public, but I'll wear it in the house."
Something you don't like and wear may be something that someone else will like and wear.
Today is a good day to begin saying goodbye to clothing that a) you don't particularly like and b) you never, ever wear.
It's nice to own
clothing you feel good wearing...including your pajamas.
