My new way to read since I never have time
Hi Maria,
My new way to read, since I never have time, is to combine it with another task by listening to books on Audible while I walk, drive, ride, pull weeds, or clean something. It also makes me walk longer, pull weeds
longer, etc. Thanks!

Knowing when to refill or repurchase something
Hi Maria,
In the area of knowing when to refill or repurchase things...
I'm blind and I have a low-tech way of keeping track of my tasks, TO DO list, and projects. I have 5" by 8" cards that I braille my info to know what to do. I have the days of the month and the months of
the year brailed on their respective cards. They're stored in a box that fits them perfectly.
When it comes to my prescriptions, most of them I get through the mail. I braille the date 30 days before that script is due to run out and then when there is 7 days left. All of that is brailed on a 3" x
5" card, stapled to the upper right hand corner of the prescription card, and put in the corresponding date of the correct month. If it hasn't come through the mail, then I work on it from my end. I have them set on automatic reminder and automatic refill. They do the work for me.
I love all your
tips and suggestions."

Useful ideas for promotional t-shirts
Here's an idea for college promotional t-shirts (that so many kids entering college get as they're submitting their college applications and going on college tours)...
My boys wore them throughout their senior year. Kids asked them every time if that was the college they were going to. It kept the college buzz going for everyone AND, even better, they had free shirts to wear!
After 'college day' when they wore the college they were attending, the others were worn over the summer for yard work/dirty days. Then tossed.
We had a very detailed excel spreadsheet of info for the colleges and scholarships...dates, scored, applications, info submitted, etc. It was very helpful to have everything in one place when we wanted to compare. The boys had their checklists and info in their college folder as well. However, the bulk of all
info was in a spreadsheet."
