Tip for Doctor Visits
Hi Maria,
This is in regards to your advice on March 22 newsletter about impatience and having to wait. Your advice was spot on, and I can add to it.
I used to
work in a doctors office as a receptionist. Be aware that doctors have to see a lot of people. Some patients do have a lot of issues they need to discuss, but some people turn it into a social visit.
I recommend that when visiting their doctor, patients go in with a list of questions and stick to the topic. If you do have an appointment later in the day, bring something to read, a puzzle book, or a portable hobby like knitting/crocheting.

YES...in Regards to Dawn Dish Soap
Maria, in response to your answer of a reader question in
the April 4th newsletter, you mentioned Dawn Dish Soap for dishes.
I am the owner of a 23-year old, small commercial cleaning company. I have used Dawn for windows and floors for years on my properties and residential homes! It is THE best.
Just a few drops in a spray bottle and fill with warm water or a few drops into a bucket to wash windows; then use a squeegee.
Dawn leaves a sheeting action of sorts on the window. The next rain storm will wash any accumulated dirt off for you. Our windows are so clean!
I have used Dawn on filthy, grimy Wisconsin salty
underground apartment garages for over a decade and they look excellent afterwards. Plus it smells so fresh. Using it often creates sort of a barrier for the next cleaning.
I only use the blue version and Dawn Platinum is actually the best.

Using TV Commercial Time Wisely
Use the minutes during commercials while watching TV for small tasks, such as emptying the dishwasher, throwing out the trash, wiping down counters, washing a pot, etc. We don’t usually need what they are selling. We all have too much stuff!
