Repurposing the food container is my favorite thing!
Hi Maria! In response to your February 19th newsletter, repurposing the food container is my favorite thing! I always look for new ideas. I use the relatively sturdy plastic container that had 8 “nectarines” at Costco for storing tennis balls for my Doberman. It perfectly fits! I will never accidently topple it over on the floor after she plays in the
living room.-- Akemi

Each year, I list possible cleaning locations...
Just wanted you to know that your recent reminder about Ash Wednesday, caused me to look back at my Lenten To Do list called 40 Spots in 40 Days.
Each year, I list possible cleaning locations such as shelves, baskets, closets, drawers...and each day in Lent, I choose one to review, clear, clean, or just admire that it still looks good!

I donate teddy bears to my local police department
Maria, In response to your February 17th newsletter, I also have
collected Teddy Bears for years and have outgrown my collection. I decided at the age of 69 and retired for the second time that I needed to grow up and downsize!
For several years, I have
taken large boxes of huggable-size bears to our local police department and fire department. They use them to give to children who are at the scene of a traumatic event in our small town. They are always so happy to get them!
I do line them up on my bed and take a picture of them before I donate them, just for memory's sake! I just can't get rid of them all at once!
I continue to love your newsletter!
