Don't solely rely on clinic and hospital records
Hi Maria,
Soon, I will be 71 years old. I cannot remember all my life events well. Looking back, I
wish I had kept personal records of each hospitalization and diagnosis, my blood type, and other pertinent information. You might surmise that I have had many health challenges...and I have.
Each time I am asked about hospitalizations and the number of surgeries, I cannot recall the dates. Don't solely
rely on clinic and hospital records. You need your own.
I am married almost 43 years and we have one grown son. My family is very supportive, but I suffer from chronic fatigue so house cleaning and organization is a challenge. I try and implement your suggestions.
Thank you,
-- Debbie

Here's what I've used for years to dry sweaters
Hi Maria,
Your April 24th GON issue on "Hand Washing"reminded me of a gift which my grandmother sent to me before I went off to college. It was called a "Sweater Swing" and was a flat mesh gizmo which was collapsible into a small package and was used for flat drying sweaters or fine clothing pieces whichyou didn't want to subject to a dryer. I've used it for years and years! These are not expensive and are very useful to people who have small space living quarters or are traveling. I live in the Arizona desert climate, and a sweater placed on a flat sweater dryer on the patio table in the sunshine dries really fast, year 'round!
However, I grew up in Ohio and my mother would dry things flat like that in the warmth of the basement in the wintertime.
Best wishes and thanks for all your good advice AND for the wonderful "Inspiration" Quotes at the end of each ezine. I keep a steno notebook, where I handwrite my favorites.

Another place where you can donate newspapers
Hi Maria,
An addition to your April 20th newsletter: Donate newspaper to a
Thrift shop if they can use it. We have a Saver's thrift store locally and if you bring in any donation (even a bag of newspapers) they give you a coupon good for 20% off your next purchase. They use the newspapers to wrap fragile items.
