Keep Empty Hangers Together; Not Mixed in With the Rest of Your Clothes
I
love your suggestion from awhile back about not putting empty hangers back in with clothes. I now put them in a different location when empty. No more searching when I need a hanger. Why didn't I think of this? Thank you so much for everything you do for us!

Ship Items Home From Your Vacation Spot
Dear Maria,
I like to pack light when traveling and managed to keep five days of packable outfits...in a backpack!
I feel that one of the best things to do at the end of a
trip is to visit a UPS store and mail the whole backpack of laundry back to your house, or to your town's UPS pickup station, where they will hold the package for you.
You can mail your
mementos, t-shirts and things to yourself too. Then you don't have to pay airline bag fees or haul the stuff around when you are tired at the end of the trip.
Then just relax, enjoy your
memories and do the laundry when you get home.

Take a Photo of the Parking Lot Location Sign
I take a photo, with my phone, of my parking spot area, which I did at the airport prior to leaving for a trip (3rd Floor, Section D sign). I didn't have to write anything down or worry about losing the info...and a week later, I was able to easily find my car!
