5 Festive, Creative, and Organized Gift Wrapping Ideas

'Tis the season for gift wrapping. Here are five organized and fun ways to do so:

1. Wrap gifts with fabric. Have fabric sitting in your craft room that you never use? Cut it to size, place your gift in the center of the fabric, tie the corners together, and you're done. The best part is that the fabric can be reused for future gifts or repurposed for other projects.

2. Decorative Gift Boxes with Lids: These can be found in various sizes, colors, and patterns. Simply place your gift inside, secure the lid, and add a ribbon or bow for an extra touch of elegance. Bonus: Your gift recipient now has a cute box he or she can use to store some belongings.

3: Newspaper or Magazine Wrapping: Embrace a vintage and eco-friendly aesthetic by using old newspapers or magazines as wrapping paper. Choose pages with interesting headlines, colorful images, or meaningful articles. Secure the paper with biodegradable twine or a reusable ribbon. Not only does this option give a second life to printed materials, but it also adds a touch of nostalgia to your gift.

4. Use a prettied-up paint can: Tuck your gift in a clean paint can, and add some tissue paper to keep it hidden. Decorate the can with paper and a bow.

5. Tuck your gifts in Chinese Take-Out Boxes: Enclosing your gift in a Chinese Take-Out Box is a very unique way to present a gift. Tuck in your gift along with an individually wrapped fortune cookie! Tie a red and green ribbon on the metal handle and you're all ready to give a uniquely wrapped gift.
