On this beautiful day of Thanksgiving, I wanted to take a moment to extend my deepest, heartfelt good wishes to you and yours.
This time of year, I remind myself to slow down, count my blessings, and appreciate the little things that make life special. I hope you also take the time today to do the same...and to mindfully savor every moment.
A Thankful Pause
Thanksgiving isn't just about the turkey and trimmings...although all the delicious food is a nice bonus! It's a chance, also, for us to hit the pause button and reflect on the journey
we've navigated throughout this past year.
From personal milestones, to shared experiences, to challenges we've faced, every twist and turn has brought us to this day of gratitude and
appreciation.
Sharing Gratitude, One Bite at a Time
As we gather around the table, keep in
mind (and send a prayer) to those who are less fortunate than ourselves. As many as 828 million people—about 10% of the global population—regularly go to bed hungry. As many as 1.6 billion people lack adequate housing. Heartbreaking statistics.
In light of this, let's be especially grateful, this year, for the blessings of the food on our tables. Consider the time, energy, and effort put into the meal (even if it's a store-bought one). Be mindful of the fact of how fortunate we are to be enjoying this Thanksgiving holiday under a warm roof.
Embracing Simple Acts of Kindness
Let's focus on sprinkling a bit of kindness wherever we go.
Whether it's lending a helping hand, sharing a smile, or just being present for someone, simple acts of kindness can light up someone's day.
And isn't that what this season is all
about?
Share that beautiful light within you...always.
Thankful Beyond Thanksgiving Day
Carry the spirit of gratitude throughout the year. Whether it's finding joy in a quiet moment, appreciating the people who surround us, or simply being thankful
for today.
Finally, thank you dear friend and reader for being an essential part of my life and this GON organizing community. Your support and presence enrich this life journey and I am truly grateful to you.
Wishing you and your loved ones a Thanksgiving filled with joy, warmth, and everything that makes your heart smile.
