I used to sweep out my garage and then discovered that a leaf blower works so much better and faster. I just start at the back end. I then work across and toward the front. Then out into the driveway where
it can all be scooped up with a broom and dustpan and discarded.

We Offer 'Gift With Purchase' at Our Yard Sales
I love yard sales, tag sales, whatever you call them in your community! When one of our yard sales was nearing the end, and my husband and I were motivated to move things out, we started 'gift with
purchase.'
When someone made a purchase, we would include something else (of our choice) for free.
People loved it! When we told customers what we were doing, they would stop and look around a little more. It was so much fun.

The 'Take One - Put One' Shelf
I love to buy and read paperbacks, but then end up with a stack of them beside
my bed and all over the house.
At work, I set up a spare shelf in our office and called it the 'take one - put one' shelf. We all put our paperbacks there once we have read them and are ready to pass them on. We can always find a new one to read when we need it.
No more piles of books, we're all saving money, and it has led to some great office conversations!
