This Has Changed Me Permanently!
One changed behavior for me from your newsletter is rather than a pack and stow person, I'm a
clean up and go person now. It changed me permanently in that way. Thank you.

An "Aha" Moment
I wanted to share this recent "Aha Moment" with you and your readers regarding letting go of sentimental things:
Enjoying the Memory of a Thing You Once Owned in the Past is Worth More Than Still Owning the Thing.
My adult son reminded me of a porcelain doll that I had as a child. He had accidentally broken it when he was a child and he recently told me that he still remembers how badly he felt when it happened.
I told him that it didn’t matter, and that enjoying the memory of once owning something is more important than owning it now.

Ways to Organize and Travel with Healthy Food
I travel four days a week for work which makes sticking to a healthy food plan a challenge. I've discovered a few ways to organize and travel with healthy food:
Each Sunday night, I put together the food that I will need for the week and put it in a tote that
I carry on the plane.
-- Two small boxes of raisins and a quarter cup of plain almonds equals the perfect snack. I create 4-6 portions in individual Ziploc snack bags
-- Tuna
that is vacuum packed in envelopes makes a great lunch or dinner. I put 3-5 of those in a quart sized Ziploc bag and breeze through security. There is no water in these packs like there is in individually canned tuna.
-- For at least the first day, cut vegetables will travel well and I carry 1-2 individual portions of those in Ziploc
bags.
-- I order hot tea from room service and add packets of dried soup to the hot water.
