Pretty Paper, Perfect Purpose
Maria,
I love repurposing outdated calendars by creating envelopes that match the recipients' interests.
Pictured above are two examples of envelopes I have made—one for my granddaughter who studies ballet
and another for a friend’s birthday.
The ballet envelope was made from her ballet school’s yearly calendar. I felt so much better repurposing the calendar rather than recycling it. It was just too pretty to toss away.
Thank you for all your useful suggestions. I love all of your ideas!

Relax, Recharge, Repeat
It's so important to schedule some relaxation time for yourself. I've gotten into the habit of scheduling a monthly massage and facial. It's time and money well spent.

Effortless Payments, Clutter-Free Finances
Dear Maria,
Regarding going paperless...
I have all of my bills on automatic payment by credit card. In my case, it’s a Visa that gives me reward points for every dollar spent, which is an added bonus.
Each of my utility companies sends me a notification email of an upcoming due date, and both the utility company and Visa notify me when the transaction has been made.
I have facial recognition on my phone for my credit card, so I don’t have to go through the 2-step verification process.
Most importantly, when the Visa payment is
due, I pay it in full, electronically of course.
I don’t use store credit cards, as I feel that they just create too much spending clutter for me to keep track of. All my purchases are made with the same card so I can keep track of all my spending in one
place.
I also have our car and homeowners insurance premiums auto-paid this way, which gives me a discount from the insurance company.
I hope your readers will find this helpful.
And thank you for getting and keeping me on track for a more organized and stress free life.
