Books That Stayed with Me Long After the Last Page
The Red Tent by Anita Diamant: I loved the Bible references in this story of Dinah, Jacob’s granddaughter. The writing is
beautiful and captivating. Black
Cake by Charmaine Wilkerson: I loved the way the story wove through the generations and shaped the lives of everyone involved. -- S.M. Oliver

The Surprising Tool I Use to Dust Every Nook and Cranny
Maria,
Good day from Sunny South Africa. I use a hairdryer to dust off hard to reach places and things like bookshelves. I try to aim the nozzle in the same direction and then leave the area for the dust to settle, and a quick vacuum of
the floor, and I’m done.
This works well for picture frames, printers’ trays and difficult to reach places!
A handheld car vacuum also works well, but you then have to stop
several times to empty, depending on the area you are cleaning!
Kind regards,

How I Stay Healthy While Living Out of a Suitcase
I travel four days a week for work which makes sticking to a healthy food plan a challenge. I've discovered a few ways to organize and travel with healthy food:
Each Sunday night, I put together the food that I will need for the week and put it in a tote that I carry on the
plane.
-- Two small boxes of raisins and a quarter cup of plain almonds equals the perfect snack. I create 4-6 portions in individual Ziploc snack bags.
-- Tuna that is
vacuum packed in envelopes makes a great lunch or dinner. I put 3-5 of those in a quart sized Ziploc bag and breeze through security. There is no water in these packs like there is in individually canned tuna.
-- For at least the first day, cut vegetables will travel well and I carry 1-2 individual portions of those in Ziploc
bags.
--I order hot tea from room service and add packets of dried soup to the hot water.

The One Moving Tip That Saved Me Hours of Chaos
When moving, get a floor map of your new house (usually included in the packet buyers will see). I give each room and each closet a number.
When packing up items, put the number of the room or closet you want these items to go to on the box.
If you are using a moving company, post the map on the front door. It makes it so much quicker for them to see the number on the map and they don't have to keep asking you where it goes. Plus it keeps you organized too.
Don't forget to give any attics or basements numbers
also.

The $1 Coupon Organizer That Lives in My Purse
In order to have restaurant coupons with me when we eat out, I place them in a small photo album I bought at the dollar store. I can see the coupons quickly by
flipping through the pages and it fits easily in my purse.
