Necklace Know-How
Pairing the
right necklace with the neckline of your outfit can elevate your whole look. But it’s not always obvious which styles go together. Here’s a quick guide to keep in mind the next time you’re accessorizing:
Scoop Necks pair beautifully with shorter, rounder necklaces like collar or princess-length pieces that follow the curve of the neckline. Strapless or Off-the-Shoulder tops shine with chokers or short statement necklaces that sit above the collarbone, keeping the focus on your shoulders and face.
Button-Down Shirts (especially when slightly unbuttoned) look polished with short pendants or delicate chains tucked just beneath the collar.
Boat Necks and Crew Necks are best complemented by longer pendants or bold statement pieces that break up the horizontal line.
Try laying out your top and
necklace together before dressing. It’s a small detail that can make you look effortlessly put together.

been reading all of your tips for a couple of years and applying as many as I can. As I was reading this, I realized it’s really working.
Also, when reading the July daily checklist, I realized that many of those things I don’t have
to do because I’m on top of them. For example, getting out the beach bag, I had already cleared it out at the end of the season last year as part of my checklist. All I had to do was put in fresh sunscreen and anything new that I might want to include.
