A Cheerful Touch of Color
Tulips are one of the most cheerful flowers you can bring into your home. With their bold colors and graceful shape, they brighten up any room—and they come with a fun little surprise.
Once cut and placed in water, tulips
can actually keep growing. Their stems continue to elongate as they absorb water, and you might notice them stretching taller or bending toward the light, sometimes by as much as an inch.
If you’re enjoying a vase of tulips, there are a few easy ways to help them last longer. Trim the stems at an angle, use cold water,
and change the water every couple of days.
If you're arranging them with other flowers, avoid mixing fresh-cut daffodils in the same vase—daffodils release a sap that can shorten a tulip’s vase life.
With just a little care, these flowers will stay lovely a bit longer, adding beauty right where you need it.
