Slow Down to Speed Up
The next
time you feel overwhelmed and tempted to rush, try slowing down instead. It might sound counterintuitive, but pressing pause allows your brain to reset, prioritize, and ultimately work more efficiently.
Studies show that even a two-minute breathing
exercise can lower stress hormones and sharpen mental focus.
Try this: close your eyes, take a few slow, deep breaths, and ask yourself, “What actually needs to happen next?”
You’ll be surprised how often the answer is smaller, simpler, and more doable than your frantic brain had you believe.
Slowing down isn’t about
doing less—it’s about doing better.
