Things That Can Lift You Up
You
don’t always need a big win to feel better—sometimes the smallest, most ordinary things can quietly lift you up and help you move through the day with purpose and grace.
It could be a great pen that glides smoothly as you jot down one meaningful task for the day. Writing something with intention—even just “clear the kitchen counter” or “call Jackie”—can set the tone and give you direction.
Or maybe it’s your favorite coffee mug, the one that feels good in your hands and reminds you to slow down for a few minutes in the morning. That little ritual can bring more peace than you realize.
A sticky note on your mirror that says, You’ve got this, or Progress, Not Perfection might be the whisper of encouragement you didn’t even know you needed.
Your planner or notebook becomes a quiet companion—holding your thoughts, goals, and reminders so your brain doesn’t have to carry it all.
A sturdy water bottle nearby tells your body, I care about you.
Sunglasses? Sometimes just putting them on and heading out for a walk helps
you see the world, and yourself, with fresh perspective.
These tools, props, comforts—whatever you want to call them—aren’t just stuff. They’re everyday supports that lift your mind and your energy little by little.
So look around today. What can you reach for that reminds you to rise?

"I enjoy reading your daily newsletter. I love so many things about it. A few of my favorites include when you put your recommendations for
items to make my life easier, your book recommendations, and your daily 'Just one thing you can do today.' Thank you!!
