One Person's Beautiful Day is Another Person's Nightmare
Did you get a chance to catch a glimpse of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle this
morning? The royal wedding, at St George's Chapel, Windsor, was stunning...from
the wedding setting, to the guests, to the beautiful couple...such an
extraordinarily happy day.
I also saw many proud parents at graduations this morning posted on Facebook.
Kids in graduation caps and gowns looking forward to a bright future filled with
dreams and opportunities.
And on the opposite end of the spectrum, is the tragedy that happened in Santa
Fe, Texas, and the 10 lives that were tragically ended by a 17-year old. What
devastation families, friends, and fellow students are left with for the rest of
their lives. Heartbreaking.
There is one thing for certain. At any given time, one person's beautiful day is
another person's nightmare.
As a reflection of both joy and sadness, let us all remember...
1) Always treat people with kindness, respect, and dignity. Always. You
just never know what someone may be experiencing that day. Ensure your contact
with them is a positive, uplifting one.
2) Never miss the opportunity to show your love...to express your love.
Yes, we're all busy. It doesn't matter. Make the time. Put people first whenever
you can.
3) Be happy for others when they're celebrating. Celebrate with them in
your own mind and heart.
4) Offer help when you can. Grocery shop for an elderly person who may
not be able to make it to the store often...or offer this person a ride (and
some company) to church. Offer to mow your neighbors' lawn when they go on
vacation, or pick up stray trash that blew onto their property. Babysit for a
couple who never have a moment to themselves.
5) At the end of each day, think up five things you're thankful for...no
matter how hard that may be. Do this without fail so you go to bed with a
sense of peace and gratitude in your heart.
My heart is filled with congratulations and condolences this Saturday. And at
the core is the deep realization and confirmation of how precious this gift of
life truly is.

The OMAD diet 'rage'...
This trendy new diet has great benefits...
and a serious downside
What the heck is OMAD? It's a new approach to eating that's getting phenomenal
weight loss results.People are not only rapidly getting leaner, they're also
subtracting years from their appearance. The best part? They're eating whatever
they want.
Really. There's just 1 problem: OMAD stands for 'one meal a day.'
Yikes! No wonder it works so well. You basically don't eat anything! This
lifestyle obviously isn't for everyone. Yet there is something we can all learn
from OMAD...a weight loss tip that can help those of us who like to eat. And it
doesn't require skipping meals, going keto or intermittent fasting.
Here's what we can all learn from OMAD:
OMAD triggers a powerful anti-aging process called autophagy. In autophagy, our
bodies 'recycle' old cells that no longer work...and it replaces them with new
cells that work much better. This helps us burn fat, look younger and feel
better. Not surprisingly, research into autophagy has been skyrocketing. In
fact, a Nobel Prize was just awarded to the scientist who discovered how it
worked.
Here's what's funny though: Autophagy is happening inside all of us, all the
time. It's just not working as well as we want it to. So the trick is to get it
working better.
Fortunately, you don't need to cut out 2/3rds of your meals to do that. A far
easier method is to simply eat right for your fat burning type. Not only does it
turn ON fat burning...it also ramps UP the rejuvenating powers of autophagy.
You'll look better and feel better, while getting to enjoy delicious foods you
love.
Obviously the first step is to discover your fat burning type,
which you can find out here:

phenomenal results. I encourage you to visit the link to learn more.

GON Monthly Checklist: How are you doing with your TO DOs this month.
Use our May Checklist, on our home page, to keep you feeling accomplished.
getorganizednow.com
Week Beginning May 19th
1) Make good use of what you have. Before you buy new food, toiletries,
paper products, or clothing, use up and/or make good use of what you already
have. High volumes of any of these categories leads to unnecessary clutter and
emptier wallets.
2) Ask your school-age child to begin emptying his or her locker. For
many students, the end of the school year is upon us. It's a really good time
for your child to begin bringing home anything in his or her locker that is no
longer needed for the school year. When it arrives home, decide on what you're
keeping (for next year or for memories) and what you're tossing.
3) Make a list of look-forward-to events. Grab a sheet of paper and a
pen. List at least 20 or more things to look forward to in the next month.
Perhaps include a cookout with your family in your backyard, a festival coming
up, a family visit, coffee with a friend, a new book you've been meaning to
read, the start or completion of a new quilt you're making, Sunday church
services, trying out a new recipe....you get the idea. Give yourself the benefit
of this visual, and make it all happen.
'Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply
gives you courage.'
