When I Don't Need Something, Here's What I Do...
Thank you for all the wonderful tips! They always inspire me to keep
decluttering. When I decide I don't need something, I post it for sale on eBay.
If it doesn't sell, I keep lowering the price until it does. I have sold over
$5,000 worth on eBay since 2014. It has become my hobby.

A Reader Asks, 'I Stop Short of My Goals. How Do I Get to the Finish Line?'
A GON Reader Asks
I am good at scheduling the time to organize, but I notice I stop short of the
goal. One example, I started going through clothes. I got them sorted and two
bags out the door. That is where I stopped. I seem to start, but never really
finish. I think sometimes I sabotage myself. Do you have any pointers to get me
to the finish line?
Mary Willey, Mayflower, AR
Age 46, Mom (3 girls,19,16 and 11), employed full time, going to school full
credit hours, and just got remarried. Recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis.
Maria Gracia Responds
Hi Mary,
Thanks for your question. First off, you went through your clothes and you sent
two full bags out of your house. That's AWESOME and you should be very proud of
yourself! It sounds to me like you DID start and accomplish a goal.
Perhaps your initial goal was to fully organize your closet and maybe that's why
you're feeling you fell short. BUT, consider that your initial goal may have
been too lofty for your current obligations, busy schedule, and recent health
diagnosis.
Always think 'mini goals.' Mini goals are much easier to start and complete,
because they're more doable and take less time.
So, you've already reached mini-goal ONE of your closet. What's your next mini
goal? To donate another bag of clothes? To donate shoes you're not wearing? To
clear your closet of a multitude of hangers you're not using?
Think up ONE 'baby-step' goal you absolutely, positively can complete in 30
minutes or less, like one I just mentioned, and you'll be getting to the finish
line each and every time!
Hope this change of perspective helps!
Maria

The OMAD diet 'rage'...
This trendy new diet has great benefits...
and a serious downside
What the heck is OMAD? It's a new approach to eating that's getting phenomenal
weight loss results.People are not only rapidly getting leaner, they're also
subtracting years from their appearance. The best part? They're eating whatever
they want.
Really. There's just 1 problem: OMAD stands for 'one meal a day.'
Yikes! No wonder it works so well. You basically don't eat anything! This
lifestyle obviously isn't for everyone. Yet there is something we can all learn
from OMAD...a weight loss tip that can help those of us who like to eat. And it
doesn't require skipping meals, going keto or intermittent fasting.
Here's what we can all learn from OMAD:
OMAD triggers a powerful anti-aging process called autophagy. In autophagy, our
bodies 'recycle' old cells that no longer work...and it replaces them with new
cells that work much better. This helps us burn fat, look younger and feel
better. Not surprisingly, research into autophagy has been skyrocketing. In
fact, a Nobel Prize was just awarded to the scientist who discovered how it
worked.
Here's what's funny though: Autophagy is happening inside all of us, all the
time. It's just not working as well as we want it to. So the trick is to get it
working better.
Fortunately, you don't need to cut out 2/3rds of your meals to do that. A far
easier method is to simply eat right for your fat burning type. Not only does it
turn ON fat burning...it also ramps UP the rejuvenating powers of autophagy.
You'll look better and feel better, while getting to enjoy delicious foods you
love.
Obviously the first step is to discover your fat burning type,
which you can find out here:

phenomenal results. I encourage you to visit the link to learn more.
