___ 1. Clean birdfeeders: Your feathered friends will appreciate clean eating quarters. Take each bird feeder apart, and put the feeder parts into your dishwasher on the hot setting (if it's dishwasher-safe) or hand wash with a) soap and boiling water OR b) a diluted bleach solution (NO MORE THAN 1 part bleach to 9 parts water). Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. When completely dry, put back together, refill, and rehang.

___ 2. Organize a messy drawer: Pick any drawer in your house (utensil drawer, desk drawer, t-shirt drawer, etc.). Get rid of anything that no longer serves you. Then, reorganize your items back into the drawer, using storage aids (like dividers and such) if needed.

___ 3. Make plans for Labor Day weekend: Labor Day weekend is approaching fast, set to take place the first weekend of September. How will you celebrate? By taking advantage of retail sales? By enjoying an experience with your family? By going to the movies? Finalize those plans this week. If you don't have plans, why not make some? This public holiday, in honor of working people, is the perfect time to relax and enjoy yourself!
