  Organizing Tip

Stop Forgetting What You Need to Bring Along on Your Errands

Do you sometimes forget the dry cleaner slip or the library books you wanted to return...realizing it when you've already left home and it's too far to go back? Next time, use a visual reminder to help you remember what you need to bring along with you on your errands.

Put a reusable tote bag on your exit door doorknob (I use the knob that leads to my garage). Use this as a place to put all items you need for your next set of errands.

For example, insert a library book that needs returning, a jacket that needs to go to the tailor, and a card that needs to be taken to the post office. All you have to do before leaving is grab your bag, instead of hunting for each of these items.
