Hi Maria, In response to your August 20th Newsletter, I usually receive two very special gifts each year. A very dear friend of mine, since about 2001, has been giving me a gift of her time at Christmas and my birthday. We go out to eat (my choice) and something else, (also my choice).

Sometimes, our schedules are tight and it might not fall on the exact date, or it might be limited to a certain amount of time. But we've been to eat at very different places and have seen the best movies together. Since I am blind, we usually go to the theaters that have audio description. It has been wonderful.

No bow could be big enough to wrap that kind of time. She does it for a few very close friends.
