Indulge in a Daily Celebration of Life
Do you sometimes get so caught up in the business of everyday living that it
seems as if life is passing you by? It's easy to feel that our day-to-day
schedule is like a race that we just can't win, to think `Is this all there is?'
Feeling like this too much of the time can drain our energy and sap our joy.
That's why it's so important, even on the busiest days, to find something to
celebrate. Why save these good feelings exclusively for holidays, birthdays, and
anniversaries? Celebrating the small things: a cup of coffee on the deck, a
sunrise or sunset, your baby's first tooth--all these little events give us an
opportunity to pause and savor the moment. These mini-celebrations can help us
weather our daily challenges. They trigger positive feelings, which can help
protect us from the negative effects of stress on our health and our outlook.
Throughout your day, watch for small things to celebrate. Make it a goal to
notice them and not to take them for granted. Maybe a check you've been waiting
for came in the mail? Perhaps you finished a project you've been putting off?
Did you handle a difficult moment with your teenager with grace? Take a minute
to appreciate the event. Toast yourself or give yourself a high-five. Other
small things to celebrate:
- Monday morning: A fresh start
- Friday evening. Time for fun
- The first day of a new month
- You learned a new word
- Your new puppy did his business outside
- Your toddler learned the color blue
- There's a whole new season of your favorite TV show
- You saw a new bird at the feeder
- You found your lost earring
- Your supermarket bouquet lasted the whole week
- You had lots of 'likes' for your new profile picture on Facebook
Think up as many as you can and make your own list. It doesn't really matter
what you celebrate, only that you be on the lookout for things to celebrate.
You'll find that the more you look for these little landmarks, the more you will
tend to find them everywhere.
There will still be traffic jams, job challenges, health issues, and
never-ending laundry, but if you make it a habit to celebrate at least one
little victory every day, you can more easily handle the setbacks without being
derailed by them. And that is truly something to celebrate!

Christmas Holiday Planner

With the Get Organized Now
Christmas Holiday Planner
Your Holiday Season is Guaranteed

For super quick details about my Christmas Holiday Planner, visit:

Christmas is supposed to be the season of joy, warmth, reflection, and good
will. Why then, is it such a stressful time for so many people? There's no doubt
about it. Once Thanksgiving ends, life gets busy.
There are holiday cards to be sent. Gifts to be purchased or made. Holiday
dinners to plan. Church, community, and family get-togethers to attend. Holiday
treats to bake. Stockings to stuff. Tree trimming, gift wrapping, and getting
your house ready for company. The list is endless.
It's no wonder there's so much stress and exhaustion at Christmas-time.
The good news is, it doesn't have to be that way.
That's where my Christmas Holiday Planner comes in. You see, knowing about all
the stress and frustration so many people experience this time of year, I
thought to myself, 'There has to be a better way...Christmas is supposed to be a
joyful, cheerful time.'
And then, suddenly, it hit me. I had to do something to help folks plan and
prepare better. I had to help get all of the information, ideas, and notes into
one place. It needed to be a cinch to use. It had to have the ability to store
information that almost everyone who celebrates Christmas needs to have handy.
And it had to be cost-effective.
And that's how the Get Organized Now! Christmas Holiday Planner was born. It's
ready to help you experience your most organized Christmas ever this year!
