___ 1. A clean vehicle: When a vehicle isn't taken to the car wash in awhile or the interior isn't vacuumed/cleaned out, it can become quite messy. Even a fairly new car, when cleaning duties are neglected, can look pretty bad very quickly. Every day, the exterior of your vehicle attracts contaminants like dust, dirt, pollen, bird droppings, tree sap, bug guts, salt, and air-borne pollutants. The interior ends up filled with debris from your shoes (pebbles, leaves, dirt) and from your family and pets (hair, lint, fur, Cheerios). Take each of your vehicles to the car wash every two to three weeks. Get the exterior washed and waxed...and get the interior vacuumed (be sure to remove the mats so you can get to the debris under them.) Use a microfiber cloth to dust your car's interior every time you stop to get fuel. Don't store trash in your car (soda cans and such). Keep a trash bag or bin in your car, and empty it out when you stop to get fuel, or at home. Clean the interior windows with glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth when needed. Wipe the glass in an up-and-down motion, then in a side-to-side motion.

___ 2. An organized coat closet: Hang each family member's coats and jackets in their own 'section' of the coat closet. You generally wouldn't literally section the closet off, but each person's items should be sorted together. For instance, all Sally's coats and jackets first, all Alex's coats and jackets second, etc. This holds true for outerwear accessories, like gloves, ear muffs, and scarves. Give each family member a plastic, lidded container or tote bag to hold all of their accessories. Hang hooks for purses, dog leashes, and such. Most important, donate coats and jackets that are never worn.

___ 3. Silky-Soft Hair: I love it when I find hair conditioner that is amazing, but doesn't break the bank. When I decided to try Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioning Treatment, my hair and my wallet were very happy. My hair is very thick and tangles easily...but not when I use this product. Plus, it smells amazing...like oranges, grapefruit and lime. Try it out for yourself. By the way, the smaller version makes a great stocking stuffer!
