What To Do With Christmas Cards After the Holiday?
In an online web poll, we asked our readers:
Are you sending Christmas cards this year?
Here is how our readers responded:
45% I buy them and send them
14% I send a holiday newsletter
13% Not sending this year
10% Yes, sending photo cards
7% If I get one, I'll send one back
3% I make them myself
3% I post a greeting on social media
3% I send New Year's greetings
2% I send eCards
Looks like a lot of cards are being mailed out from GON Readers this year. If
you're one of the respondants doing so, I hope you enjoy this annual activity.
Now, what to do with those holiday cards YOU RECEIVE...AFTER the holidays? Here
are 5 ideas:
a) Recycle them. You can certainly recycle them if you wish. I don't
expect folks to hang onto the Christmas cards I send. They weren't sent with
an expectation that my recipients would have to hold onto them forever.
b) Repurpose them. If you're crafty, you can repurpose them into Christmas
tags, ornaments, card wreaths...the possibilities are endless.
c) Turn them into a physical memory book. You can turn the photo cards
you receive into instant photo books (pictured above) with a 3-hole-punch tool
and loose- leaf binder rings, and save them in your memory box. Hint: If you do
this, mark them with the year for future reminiscing.
d) Turn them into digital memories. You can scan photo cards and save them
digitally, in folders by year (i.e. Christmas Cards-2018, Christmas Cards-2019,
etc.) for your memories if you so choose.
e) You can make new cards from old cards. Cut and fold a sheet of
cardstock to the size of your desired card. Cut out a design from an old card
and glue it to a new card. Write your own message inside. Send next Christmas.

The World's Sharpest Knives
Help You Save Time (and are safer) in the Kitchen
In Fact...
They Even Passed the Shave Test,
the Tomato Test AND
the Ninja Test!
Makes a wonderful Christmas gift for others...or for you!
For super quick details, and a great video, about the world's sharpest knives,
visit:
http://www.getorganizednow.com/rd-chef.html
Did you know that there's nothing more dangerous in the kitchen than cutting
with dull knives? A dull blade requires more effort and pressure to cut.
This means there's a higher chance the dull knife will slip with a lot of force
behind it, increasing the chances of an injury...and possibly a visit to the ER.
This particular set of knives is very unique. They're incredibly lightweight and
are super-strong (they can easily cut through a butternut squash and makes
slicing meat a breeze). This is because they're made with a ceramic blade that
is actually 10 times sharper than steel.
You've got to check them out. For details, visit:

P.S. As a special bonus, when you order before FRIDAY, DECEMBER 14, you

By the way, these knives make great Christmas gifts too.
Also, and this is pretty cool...when you get your knives, 10 hungry Americans
