Hi Maria,

In response to your January 4th edition about the 'halfway point'...

There are other reasons for adding fuel to your gas tank at the halfway mark or before it gets to that point. What if you have an emergency and need to drive some distance? What if there is a 'run' on gas? What if you are stuck in a traffic jam for hours in the cold weather and need to keep the engine running?

As a former Navy pilot, we used to say that there is nothing more useless than runway behind you, air above you, or gas already used.
