Love and Loving One Another

In the past, my hubby and I used to exchange cards, but skipped going out to
dinner because we go out to dinner in March to celebrate our wedding
anniversary. This year, I gave our grandchildren (ages 5 and 8) small candy
gifts and then taught them a short lesson on the topic of love.
I wish our other older grandchildren didn't live out of the state so they could
have joined us. This year, I sent them Valentine socks and the youngest girl a
headband combined with cards and a written note about love and loving one
another.

Hearts and Surprises

I usually buy a couple multi-packs of Valentine's Day cards and mail them to my
close friends and family. This year, I also purchased a cute box of 18
valentines (for kids) that came with pencils. I picked up some Dove chocolate
hearts and shared some of each with some of my coworkers and Suncoast Caring
Community Toastmasters group.
I bought a heart-felt Valentine's Day card for my husband and hid some of those
Dove chocolates in his lunch bag for him to find, for a sweet surprise.
Of course, I wear red to celebrate Valentine's Day too. I hope you have a
fabulous day!
