3 GON Reader Letters I Recently Received
Letter 1
A GON Reader Wrote:
Hi Maria,
In response to your
February 21st
edition that included a letter from one of your GON Readers, titled 'This
Really Made Me Think' ...
Oh how I wish I was related to Marie C. My sister and I are in the midst of
decluttering my parents home and it is so overwhelming and stressful. How I wish
they had done this and I am trying to implement a 'don't keep stuff for my
daughter policy.' If it's something she might be interested in, I ask her if she
has any interest in the item. If not, out it goes. And I make sure to remind her
it won't hurt my feelings if she doesn't want it.

Letter 2
A GON Reader Wrote:
Dear Maria,
I love your email newsletters and the ideas for organization, etc. that they
provide. And I know you are trying to be considerate of people's time. But
couldn't they be just a little longer??? Like an 'actual' 5 minute read???

RESPONSE FROM MARIA GRACIA
Dear Elaine,
Thanks so much for your note. It made me smile because I rarely get people
asking me to make my newsletters LONGER, especially that I send them out daily.
I'm so glad you're enjoying them. Some of my newsletters take just a few
minutes to read...others take the full five. I try to keep it to this length
because they are sent out every day and in keeping with my 'get organized'
theme, I don't want to add to anyone's time pressures. That being said, if
you're looking for a longer read, consider my
Anything and Everything Monthly Newsletter
It's 12 pages long, can be printed out or read on your computer or tablet,
and is chock-full of organizing information and more. Thank you so much for
warming my heart with your note! -- Maria
Letter 3
A GON Reader Wrote:
Dear Maria,
In response to your February 8th
issue titled 'What to Say to a Friend Battling a Serious Illness'...
Thank you so much for your last message, I really appreciate it. I work around
some care centers (Skilled Nursing Facilities) and this subject has been on my
mind many times! What in the world can I say that doesn't make them feel worse
than they already do? Best not to say anything, through my heart aches for them.
With the information you provided, I will feel better talking with others who
need a friend to listen to them.
