Hi Maria,

In response to a newsletter edition you wrote awhile ago...the one that included a reader tip about Culling Out Your Clothing...

I saw a sign in a store...not my style, but loved the quote. 'You look particularly good today.' I printed it out and it hangs right by my mirror so I see it every morning.

Kinda goes along with this newsletter's theme!

Dear Maria,

I recently purchased your new My Oh-So-Organized Filing System. I like that I have the option of printing out labels or making them myself. For my older eyes, I prefer writing them out myself, using Sharpies for print so I can read better at a distance.

I have most of your original material that I purchased 7-8 years ago. I used many ideas from that. I then made a major move to my rural retirement location that caused me to ignore my paperwork.

I have large 'SIMPLIFY' notes to myself posted all over. Time to get at it and activate the shredder...and reorganize with your new product!

Hello Maria,

In response to your End-of-Life Planning Checklist newsletter issue...

This is a great list! It's very meaningful to my husband and me, since we're both in our 80's and my husband has just gone on Hospice.

I might add: (maybe you imply this in number 9), 'Have a list of names and phone numbers of people to invite to the funeral. Perhaps even one person to contact several others. I'm sure it must be a difficult job to do at the time.

You mention having a living will. How about also: Consider creating a Trust.

Also, I didn't notice in your list that you need to choose an executor, find out if the person is willing, and discuss your wishes with the person.

If you should get other suggestions from people and plan to reissue your list, I'd be very much interested in seeing your revisions. Keep up the good work.
