You recently had a reader recommend sewing the extra button that comes with some clothing onto the tag so you can find it when needed. Another good reason to do so is that the extra button will be washed and dried as often as the the other buttons. If there is any fading, they will all look the same.

One sure-way to pay bills on time, if you can do so financially, is to pay them the day they are received. I do this and then mark the bill statement PAID, write today's date, and indicate what method of payment was used. I then file any bill statement paperwork in the appropriate folder in my filing cabinet and am done with that particular bill until next month. It works for me.
