____ 1. A few hours of uninterrupted time to clean. While I truly believe
that cleaning should be an 'everyone helps' effort, which is normally the case
in my house, now and then I don't mind sending my husband and daughter off to a
store or for a treat so I can focus on a cleaning or organizing project alone.
In doing so, I'm not interrupted to fix my daughter's broken necklace that she
'has to' have fixed when I'm in the middle of something, or stop to answer my
husband's questions about our calendar of events. Instead, when I have it in my
mind to do something, and I want to do it myself, working solo now and then
nearly always ends up with great results AND is good quiet time for me.
____ 2. Printed recipes. When I'm looking for a new recipe, I'll often
use Pinterest and 'pin' whatever looks interesting. However, for the recipes my
family has enjoyed and I plan to make again, I like having those recipes printed
out, in a sheet protector, and in my categorized recipe binder. I'm thankful for
technology, but I find I prefer grabbing my binder versus powering up my
computer or searching on my phone.
____ 3. Electric Wine Bottle Opener. I love sipping a nice glass of
Chardonnay with dinner on a summer evening. When I visited a friend last week,
she and I sat on her deck and had a glass each while we caught up. It was
wonderful. I noticed, when she removed the cork, she used an electric wine
bottle opener. The next day, I bought one. This particular one can be left out
in the open on display as it's interesting to look at. It produces an elegant,
blue light which is a very nice feature. And, most important, it removes a cork
within a few seconds with no residue left behind. I have given several to
relatives and friends and they absolutely love it...it makes a wonderful gift.

Learn What Your Cat is Trying To Tell You With...
The Cat Language Bible
In it you'll learn how to finally understand
and speak with your cat

To fast forward to The Cat Language Bible, visit:

Yes, meow means something
What does it mean, you ask?
Good question. It's about the same as aloha in Hawaiian.
The meaning changes.
Context matters hugely. Is it a mean meow, or a friendly one?
What about the cat's body action? Is he facing towards you, or away? Is the tail
curled, or lying flat against the floor?
Depending on these points, 'meow' could mean 'let's watch a movie together' or
'boy am I thirsty right now.'
So getting the tone and body language right is critical.
Finally, there's a quick guide on the essentials of cat communication to open
your ears (and your heart) into the fascinating world of feline communication,
both verbal and nonverbal.
This guide, written by a PhD animal communications expert Dr Jonas Jurgella, is
the missing link that allows you to bond with your own feline friend as if he
was a human child.
That's the power of true and honest communication, vs the primitive 'animal baby
talk' that so many pet owners unfortunately relegate themselves to.
