Regarding paper receipts: Many stores are now offering e-receipts to be sent to your email address. A paper receipt can be printed at the same time for those of us who like to 'see' the receipt in hand at the time of purchase. However, most of us have smart phones and can take a picture of the important receipts and file electronically appropriate to our own filing systems. These can then be printed or sent via email for whatever reason the receipt may be needed.
