We respect your time.
This newsletter will take 3:32 minutes to read.
I was just wondering...
Every now and then, rather than organizing questions, my GON readers ask me
questions about myself. (If you've ever watched, 'The Carol Burnett Show' and
the Questions and Answers segment at the end, you'll know the types of questions
I mean.) I thought I'd use this issue to answer a few non-organizing questions
I've recently received...
Question 1 from Jessica in Connecticut
I'm just wondering if you have a favorite hobby, or are you too busy for
hobbies?
Maria Gracia responds...
Janelle, I feel having a hobby (or several) is essential for relaxation and a
well-balanced life. My favorites are scrapbooking, reading, photography, and
cooking something I've never made before...and I schedule time to do at least a
few of these every week.
Question 2 from Dan in Texas
How do you get so many ideas for your newsletter and web site?
Maria Gracia responds...
Dan, Thank you...I guess my mind is always in the mode of living a good life,
and to me, that heavily involves being organized. So, the ideas just fly into my
brain and stick there. I also read a lot and try to be observant of people and
the great systems they use each and every day. We can learn something from
everyone we meet.
Question 3 from Melissa in Canada
What's something on your bucket list?
Maria Gracia responds...
Melissa, I haven't made it to Paris yet, but that's definitely up there on my
list of 'would love TO DOs.'
Question 4 from Jared in Illinois
If you had to live on a deserted island for exactly 3 months, and could take
nothing but the clothes on your back and three items (no humans), what would
they be?
Maria Gracia responds...
Jared, honestly, I hope I'm never in that situation because it doesn't exactly
sound like paradise to me. Truthfully, I don't even enjoy camping outdoors
overnight. But off the top of my head:
1. Chapstick (I hate dry, chapped lips.)
2. Bug spray. (I dread mosquitos.)
3. A huge box of matches in a fireproof case. (Warmth is important.)
You didn't specify, but I'm assuming there is a Starbucks, with complimentary
food and drink, on a nearby non-deserted island that I could swim to, right?
Question 5 from Linda in Tennessee
What's the title of the current chapter of your life?
Maria Gracia responds...
Linda, I'd say it would be, 'Driving Miss Amanda' (It's kind of like 'Driving
Miss Daisy' but my passenger is my 15-year old daughter.) She is months away
from getting her driver's license, but I swear there hasn't been, and there
won't be until that license is earned, a moment she doesn't have to be somewhere
that doesn't involve me being her unpaid Uber driver.

Learn What Your Cat is Trying To Tell You With...
The Cat Language Bible
In it you'll learn how to finally understand
and speak with your cat

To fast forward to The Cat Language Bible, visit:

Yes, meow means something
What does it mean, you ask?
Good question. It's about the same as aloha in Hawaiian.
The meaning changes.
Context matters hugely. Is it a mean meow, or a friendly one?
What about the cat's body action? Is he facing towards you, or away? Is the tail
curled, or lying flat against the floor?
Depending on these points, 'meow' could mean 'let's watch a movie together' or
'boy am I thirsty right now.'
So getting the tone and body language right is critical.
Finally, there's a quick guide on the essentials of cat communication to open
your ears (and your heart) into the fascinating world of feline communication,
both verbal and nonverbal.
This guide, written by a PhD animal communications expert Dr Jonas Jurgella, is
the missing link that allows you to bond with your own feline friend as if he
was a human child.
That's the power of true and honest communication, vs the primitive 'animal baby
talk' that so many pet owners unfortunately relegate themselves to.
