Inspiration for the New Year Ahead

20 New Year's Resolutions Anyone Can Keep
If you plan to make resolutions this New Year's Eve, make them do-able
resolutions you can keep. Here are 20 ideas:
1. Mindfully recognize something beautiful each day...the stars, a sunset,
the gently falling snow, the co-worker who always greets you with a smile,
the aroma of the minestrone you cooked tonight. Write down one thing every
single day...and enjoy all 365 of your thoughts on the last day of 2020.
2. Sleep is important. Be sure you do what you can to get a good night's rest.
3. Step outside every single day...even if just for a 10-minute breath of fresh
air.
4. Listen (truly listen) to others.
5. Above all else, be kind. All the time. To others. To yourself.
6. Accept compliments. They're given out of love. Accept them with love.
7. Learn to forgive yourself when needed.
8. Learn something new each day. It doesn't have to be earth-shattering.
9. Avoid negative comments on social media...reading them and posting them.
In fact, avoid negativity. It's nothing more than poison.
10. Schedule DAILY time for you. Actually make a 'ME TIME' appointment in your
calendar.
11. Give yourself 10 minutes of time each day to meditate, reflect, or analyze
where you are with your goals. You deserve this quiet, personal time.
12. Say 'I love you' to those you love...daily.
13. Wear something you love. Even if you're staying home. It helps to put a
positive spin on your day.
14. Try to eat health-fully most of the time. If you're putting it in your body,
be sure it is nutritionally sound.
15. Allow others to inspire you.
16. Make your bed. Even if it's the only thing you accomplish in a day, you'll
have a restful place to rest your weary head come bedtime.
17. Be intentional about getting your body moving each day, especially if you
generally spend a lot of time sitting. Take the stairs instead of the elevator.
18. Stay hydrated. Sip water throughout the day.
19. Clean as you go. Trust me...this makes life so much easier.
20. Organize something every day...even if it's just a 5-minute project.
Happy New Year, 2020!
