Day 6 - Organizing All-Things-Money Week
This week, we're focusing on organizing everything money-related. Today is Day 6
and we'll be continuing with this subject for a total of 7 days. Here goes...
____ 16. Create a bill checklist. If you exclusively pay for bills
online, and you wait to receive email invoices before you pay them, create a
checklist listing every single bill you are expecting, for every month of the
year. If an email invoice doesn't get through, you'll immediately be able to see
that, go online, and pay the bill anyway. You are responsible for paying your
bills on time, even if the bill does not arrive. Keep this checklist visible and
check it every day so you will immediately catch a bill you're expecting.
____ 17. Communicate about finances. Very often, with couples, one person
pays the bills and handles the finances. That being said, this doesn't mean the
other person should be in-the-dark in regards to household finances. Talk
regularly about expenses, spending, and your financial goals. Both people should
know exactly how to handle the monthly bills, bank transfers, etc. I cannot tell
you how many people I know who have lost their spouse to death or divorce, and
have no idea how to handle their finances. If your spouse/significant other
handles all these details, I highly encourage you to sit with him or her, find
out what's being done and how, and write up very clear notes. Even if you do
this, get a 'refresher course' from your spouse/significant other every six
months or so...or rotate who handles the job (one person does all the
bills and financial duties one month, and the other person handles these
duties the next, and so on.) In addition, if you have kids, get them involved
in basic money-handling conversations about saving, making budgets, expenses,
etc. This will help them later in life.
____ 18. Keep past taxes organized. The general rule is, if you've never
been audited and there's little chance you will be audited, old tax returns and
records should be kept for 7 years. For most families, I recommend tax returns
and supporting documentation in cardboard banker boxes kept out of the way. If
you keep yours in the basement, be sure they're on shelves and off the
floor...just in case of future water damage. Any past taxes older than that can
generally be destroyed. Double check with your accountant if needed, and realize
that if you've paid taxes to a foreign government in the past, keep those
records for 10 years, as you may be entitled to a credit or deduction on your
U.S. tax return.

Getting and keeping your finances and financial health organized are both
important aspects of good organizational habits. Today, I'm going to introduce
someone to you who can help, if you need it, with your finances.
Leo Quinn, finance guru, has been providing financial education since 1997. He
has been helping people live better lives by teaching them how to get rid of
debt that's weighing them down, and by providing them with information that
gives them financial freedom, security, and extra spending money as well.
I've known Leo Quinn for years now. He has been to my house. I've cooked dinner
for him. I (and my family) have met up with Leo annually on trips to the east
coast. I don't only consider him a business associate, but a good friend as
well.
Leo has a program, called 'How to Own Your Paycheck Again' that is surprisingly
simple. Once you understand it, it is very easy for anyone to follow...and it
works regardless of your financial situation, your current job situation, or
even the country you're from.
When you get it, you'll discover how to finally get control of your personal
debt, and get rid of it...very quickly.
You'll learn:
* What to do if you can't always pay your bills on time
* Why paying off high interest debts first can be the slowest way out of debt
* Why paying extra money on more than one of your debts can actually keep you in
debt longer
* Why having many debts can actually help you get out of debt faster
* Why your debts are often the very best investment you can make and much SAFER
than today's stock market
* How to calculate EXACTLY when you'll be out of debt and financially free
I personally vouch for the excellent, easy-to-follow information provided in
Leo's program.
P.S. Since it's Valentine's Week, I've arranged for you to get a $20 discount
on his already-low-priced program. Just type the numbers 2020 in the coupon
field and click APPLY.
By the way, when you get it, Leo's ALSO giving the following BONUSES
COMPLIMENTARY:
1. Quick Start Video
2. The Debt Cruncher
3. The Greatest Money-Making Secret in History
4. Keys to Power Prosperity
5. What to Do When You Can't Pay Your Bills
Leo has helped a whole lot of people in the last 22 years (including thousands
of Get Organized Now! readers) with this information. If you need a good plan to
pay off your debts, this one is it.
