Keeping the Top of the Refrigerator Clean
Hi Maria,
For tops of refrigerators and freezers (chest or upright), after the clutter has
been safely removed and the top thoroughly cleaned and dried, place a clean bath
towel over the top before re-storing items you've decided to keep. The next time
the top needs to be decluttered and cleaned, the bath towel can be shaken
outside, washed, dried, and replaced. The next cleaning will be much easier
since the towel caught most of the mess.
When I shared this idea with my parents, my father, who is not fond of house
cleaning, especially cleaning that requires stools, immediately asked what color
towels my mother wanted for this purpose, went to the corner store, and returned
with two towels, one for the refrigerator and one for the freezer. They were
both pleased.
An addition to this tip, buy two towels or set aside two old towels per
appliance so that once the appliance is cleaned, a clean towel is at the ready,
rather than having to wait for one to come out of the dryer. If buying, towels
from a dollar store are great for this application because there's no
requirement for them to feel comfortable against sensitive skin.
Thanks again for all your great ideas that make it easier for us to keep tidy
homes, and more importantly, to find what we need when we need it, without
hurting ourselves.

Learn What Your Cat is Trying To Tell You With...
The Cat Language Bible
In it you'll learn how to finally understand
and speak with your cat

Yes, meow means something
What does it mean, you ask?
Good question. It's about the same as aloha in Hawaiian.
The meaning changes.
Context matters hugely. Is it a mean meow, or a friendly one?
What about the cat's body action? Is he facing towards you, or away? Is the tail
curled, or lying flat against the floor?
Depending on these points, 'meow' could mean 'let's watch a movie together' or
'boy am I thirsty right now.'
So getting the tone and body language right is critical.
Finally, there's a quick guide on the essentials of cat communication to open
your ears (and your heart) into the fascinating world of feline communication,
both verbal and nonverbal.
This guide, written by a PhD animal communications expert Dr Jonas Jurgella, is
the missing link that allows you to bond with your own feline friend as if he
was a human child.
That's the power of true and honest communication, vs the primitive 'animal baby
talk' that so many pet owners unfortunately relegate themselves to.
