TO DO This Week
____ 1. Make life nice for your feathered friends. Do you remember the
bluebirds trying to wake Cinderella (in the original animated Cinderella
classic), Cinderella gently flicking one of the birds, and that bird's adoreable
annoyed face? Then she playfully says, 'Well, serves you right, spoiling
people's best dreams.' I so love the sound of singing birds in the morning. We
have bird feeders in both the front of our home and the backyard. Keeping them
clean and filled encourages birds to come visit every day and sing their happy
tunes. This is a great week to clean bird feeders and fill them up. Here's a
link that describes how to properly clean various types of bird feeders:

____ 2. Take some photos. It's very easy for months or even years to go
by without thinking about recording some family history. These days, with the
global health crisis, many of us are indoors twenty four hours, 7 days a week...
and many of us have kids home from school, college, etc. Why not use some time
to grab your camera (or camera phone), snap some shots of family members, and
maybe even have each person write down a few things that bring them comfort,
that they hope for, etc. You can then save those for your family to look back
on...and for future generations to see as well.
____ 3. Do a 15-minute under-the-sink clean out. The space under sinks
can get very unruly when neglected. Pick one of your sinks...the kitchen, the
master bath, your kids bathroom, etc., set a timer for 15 minutes, and do a
quick clean-out. Get rid of anything you no longer use/want. Clean up any
spills. Consolidate like-items together.
