Just wanted to relate a personal experience regarding your May 2019 Anything and Everything Newsletter lead article, 'Stop Giving Away All Your Money.'

A few years back, my car was dying (in January in WV) and I needed a quick all-wheel-drive replacement on the cheap. I found a suitable item on the Internet at a large used car dealer 100 miles away from me. I made a quick call to verify availability and scheduled an appointment to see the vehicle. Rescheduled once due to heavy snowfall. Finally arrived and made my test drive.

Loved the vehicle (a Subaru, those ads are TRUE). The sticker price was $2,000 more than the Internet price! Showed the salesperson my printout of the Internet listing, and the net price was honored. How's that for 'gift' money? And, I'm still happily driving that vehicle!
