I realized they didn't take long to read, and so I made a commitment

Maria,

I have been on your newsletter list awhile, but had not read many of your email newsletters. About a month ago, I started trying to delete some of the over 31,500 emails in my inbox a few at a time. I saw that I had quite a few years worth of yours, and have been slowly working my way through them. I realized they really didn't take that long to read, and so I made a commitment, to try and read each day's issue, along with an older week's worth, each week. That way, I would get caught up.

I work six days a week running my own retail shop, which is closed now due to the pandemic. So I get a lot of email daily and that's one of the reasons my inbox has such a backlog.

I wanted to say, I have enjoyed reading your newsletters, even though it seemed like a chore at first. You share lots of helpful tips, and somehow during all that's unfolding, it feels good to connect with someone, even on this small level, who is still cheery, helpful, and experiencing a lot of the same things.

So, just a note to say thank you.

A Few GON Reader Notes

I received many responses to my March 29th issue in which I mentioned my pet bunny. Here are a few:

Hi Maria,

I loved your story about your bunny. I've always wanted one as a pet but in Queensland, Australia, they are not allowed. I do have a dog however, called Halley. She will bark at dinner time every night if we forget, or are late to feed her. It's as if she's speaking to us, `Please feed me Mum or Dad.' It makes me laugh every time. Here's a pic of Halley in the midst of one of her dreams. Haha! Hopefully this puts a smile on your face like it does ours. Take care and practice positive wellness activities/routines.

Hi Maria,

When Mecha, our 15 year old cat, wants to be brushed and petted, he flops down on his side and keeps meowing until we brush him and scratch his head.

Hi Maria,

Loved your comments about Buddy the Bunny. I don't have any pets, but I do love them. And I always read your GON news and info.
