More uses for old pillowcases
I keep old, unmatched pillowcases for these purposes:
1. They're great for camping. Better to bring older ones than the nicer ones
you typically use on your bed at home.
2. Plain white ones can be used for crafts or lining facial masks.
3. They make great pastry cloths for pie dough or cut-out cookies.
4. Sew a double-layer to make long skinny tubes for your French bread.
5. And my favorite use: Keep a clean pillowcase in your luggage. Great for
stuffing with dirty laundry while traveling. When you get home, just drop the
load next to the washer on your way into the house.

Before you get rid of your microwave oven...save this
Hi Maria,
Microwave ovens wear out, but the glass plate in them is valuable both as a
microwaveable plate...and also as a cutting board for hot meats because of its
flat surface, heat treatment, and raised edge.
