GON Readers Respond to Complete Outfits

Here are two, out of hundreds of, responses to my June 7th Newsletter on the topic of Complete Outfits...

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Early on, my mom taught me to stick to simple, so navy blue became my staple with a bit of black thrown in. Skirts when I was working, then pants, now jeans in retired life. Therefore, I always knew what I had and didn't worry about precisely matching colors. Same with shoes and purses. I've never used more than one purse at a time and they typically were/are navy or black.

So thankful she taught me to keep it simple and stick with a few basic pieces. Now it's blue jeans at home and black jeans when I am out and about. Also, when returning to a job after medical leave, I wore black jeans every day and rotated tops. No one noticed for the year and a half I stayed before I retired. And simple it remains.

Blessings,

You are so on target with this. I can't tell you how many times I've picked up a skirt or shirt that I swore would match something I had, and then when I arrived home, discovered the color was off...usually ever-so-slightly, but definitely off. Then, I told myself I'd find something to match 'one of these days' and 9 times out of 10, that item sat in my closet unworn for years and eventually was donated.

The last time I went shopping at a second-hand store, I saw so many tops and bottoms that still had tags on them...brand new and never worn. I wonder how many of these folks had purchased them, thinking they would go with something else and finally, after who knows how many years, gave up on them, either because they could not find something to match OR they didn't want to spend money doing so.

On another note, when my mother passed away and I cleaned out her closet, about a quarter of the clothes she had hanging still had tags on them. Never worn. She was always telling me to save nice clothes for a nice occasion. Then, my mom got very sick and could not attend any more nice occasions. When I buy something these days, I wear it and enjoy it...usually within the week of purchase. I know this is a bit off-topic, but I've always felt bad that my mom had such a large volume of beautiful, unworn clothes in her closet that she never got to enjoy because she was 'waiting' to enjoy them.

Brain Training for Dogs
Is the Secret to Making
Your Dog's Problem Behaviors Disappear

Check out the P.S. Below Detailing the Special
Complimentary Bonus You Can Receive This Week!

To fast forward to making your dog's problem behaviors disappear, visit:

www.getorganizednow.com/rd-brainy-dog.html

No matter what your dog's problem behavior is, be it jumping, peeing in the house, aggression, pulling on the leash...or whatever, there is ONE SOLUTION that can help STOP this problem now.

The sad fact is, most dog trainers miss this solution entirely. They give you cookie cutting training programs. They use outdated, mean, and unkind dominance techniques. Or worse yet, they have no qualifications to be offering advice. So what's the answer to stopping your dog's behavioral problems? In 5 simple words...

Discovering your dog's hidden intelligence.

Let me explain. More intelligent dogs are better behaved. A more intelligent dog takes commands easier and understands what you need. The good news is, no matter how clever you think your dog is, you can unlock your pet's hidden intelligence quickly and easily.

Don't waste a second longer coping with problem behaviors you don't need to be dealing with. Visit this link to learn more about Brain Training for Dogs:

  In Closing

'A simplified life means that what has to get done will get done. And when we pare down life to its simplest, most beautifully basic parts, we're left with room to enjoy each other, to rest, and to truly savor life with all our hearts, minds, and spirits.'
--Emily Ley
