  Fabulous Reader Tip

Staying Organized by Using Lists

Hi Maria,

I try to be organized using lists by my desk and reminders on my phone. Since the quarantine, I depend even more than before on ordering things online. At first, it was hard to keep track of exactly what I ordered and when I should expect delivery. Now when the order confirmation comes into my email, most of them include an expected delivery date. I change the subject line to show what I ordered and when to expect it--'face masks delivery Wed Sep 23' and forward it to myself.

Then, when I go through my email each morning, I am reminded of what I have ordered and when to expect it delivered. Once the item is delivered, I put that email into a file labeled 'Receipts.' Then, when the bill comes, and I wonder what the heck did I buy from Amazon for $14.87, I can look through my Receipts file to verify.

This little system has saved me so much 'wondering'--'did I already order that? when should I expect a package? and what did I buy?'
