Hi Maria,

I store leftover paint in jars, rather than in the original paint cans. This keeps the paint as fresh as the day I purchased it. Plus, it's a lot easier to access the paint for quick touch-ups! I label all the jars with the room or area and store these in a utility closet in the laundry room.

Hi Maria,

Each year, at this time of year, I unload all my spices onto the kitchen table, unscrewing every lid one by one. I then take a good whiff. If I can't smell a nice aroma...or any aroma...it gets pitched. Once it loses its odor, it's no longer a useful, good tasting spice.
