Best File Folders for an Effective Paper Filing System
My paper filing system at home is made up of two kinds of file folders...
a) hanging file folders (the type with the side tabs that rest on a filing
cabinet frame or in a portable file box, and can slide back and forth) and
b) manila file folders.
The hanging file folders allow you to easily finger through your filing system.
The manila file folders are inserted into the hanging file folders, and will not
slip to the bottom of your file drawer since they're tucked neatly inside their
hanging folder.
Think of the hanging file folders as the MAJOR CATEGORIES, like 'Medical,'
'Financial,' and 'Legal.' Think of the regular manila file folders as the SUB
CATEGORIES. For instance, manila file folders labeled 'prescriptions' or 'doctor
visits' would sit in the hanging file folder labeled 'Medical.'
Depending on the paper-volume of any hanging file folder's category, I am able
to fit between 1 to 7 manila file folders in each hanging file folder.
Using both of these types of file folders, with all of my categories clearly
labeled, I never have a problem finding what I need, and the system always looks
consistent and neat.

No doubt, Christmas, in the middle of our global pandemic, is going to be a bit
different this year. And maybe you'll simplify a bit. I know I will.
Still, many of us will be busy regardless. I'll still be sending out Christmas
cards and writing our family newsletter. Gifts will still be purchased and made.
Holiday dinners...even if just for our immediate family...will still need to be
planned. Holiday treats will be baked. Stockings will be stuffed. The tree will
be trimmed. Gifts will be wrapped.
And this all needs to be organized if we want a stress-free, enjoyable, peaceful
Christmas.
And I've always said, a little bit of planning can work wonders. And My
Christmas Holiday Planner can help with everything you need to do. Visit:
